The Book is dead, long live the Book!

From cradle to grave: a book finally put to rest.

Pressing that “Publish” button is when a book finally dies for me: after the pleasures of writing it and creating a cover, followed by the excruciating pains of editing, revising, and typesetting the whole thing. (Often, just for the satisfaction of having a physical copy in my personal library.)

Regardless of how much I appreciate the result, it’s always a relief to be able to refocus my attention solely on writing.
