BROKEN MASK is available as flipbook

From the paperback's description on Amazon:

BROKEN MASK: REMNANTS OF A SOMBER MUSE is a collection of 52 deeply interconnected micro and prose poems: an autopsy of a writer-muse link/online friendship that, much like this book, was never meant to exist.

The author is told that BROKEN MASK reads like a verse novella – a noir psychological thriller – and that the promises made in the Prologue are fulfilled across the collection and in the Epilogue. That’s the only good news, it seems, because the author has also been told that this is not a book for the “poetry mass-market” – whatever that means. Apparently, BROKEN MASK is a book for a very specific niche: readers who “appreciate a darker, more literary style of poetry that incorporates classical and artistic allusions.” Are there still any readers like that in the wild? The author suspects “Probably not” might be the correct answer to that question.

Therefore, the author advises you NOT to buy this book – unless you’ve already visited the Noir On The Vine blog and, for some strange reason, found yourself appreciating some of the pieces published there.

To be fair, even if you enjoy what’s on the blog, there’s still no objective motive for you to buy this book. Except if you want a physical copy for your personal library. (That’s actually the only reason why the author has published this paperback.)

Do you still feel like reading this book?

Well, in that case, you can do it for free right here on the blog.
